So i was given a PS3 and wondered what I could do with it. When you turn it on...its fine but after about 10 mins. or so the screen goes what I call "matrix". THe screen starts to get green blocks and lines running through the screen. Then just freezes up. Anybody have any idea of what might be wrong or what I could do to it??

Prepare for the worst my friend, you can expect to get the ylod in a very short amount of time. I have been doing xbox repairs for qjite some time and things like this happen right before an xbox gets e74 or rrod. This is happening because as the motherboard heats up, solder joints under your gpu are seperating from the mobo. As time goes on, thos is going to get worse until your console becomes inopeeable and will require a reflow of the motherboard.
