Hi,
I was upgrading the drive using the Xenium chip and the upgrade went OK, but now when I go to lock the new hard drive to allow it to boot it fails. The old drive fails the locking too.
Is there any way I can get the drives to lock?
I don't care if I have to format the partitions or do something that looses all my current data, I just want my box usable again.
It was an upgrade from the original hard drive to a 40GB one.

If you have a modchip in it, you really don't need to lock the hard drive.

But it will not boot to EvoX or a Game disc, it just gives up an error page with the same thing written in multiple languages about contacting Xbox support.

Could both hard drives be damaged?
