Posted by XanTium | February 25 21:40 EST | News Category: Xbox360

Rogero released a new version of 360 Multi Builder - an easy to use GUI to help everyone make their Jtag / ECC / Reset Glitch Hack images

What's new/fixed (since v0.80):
- Added Support for building images of latest Dash ver 2.0.14719
- Updated Dashlaunch to latest version 2.31
- Added the updated bootloaders for building 14719 Retail Images.
* Please note that Retail Images may need to increment "CF LDV" value
by 1 of the original value manually from the options.ini file.
- Updated the Instruction Page with additional details.
- Bug Fix only for Retail image building (Dual-Boot users), other functions are not affected. (v0.82)

How do you edit launch.ini after flashing? Where is this file located using this method?

The launch.ini is in flash in file manager of FSD. Just be careful with flash. Just edit launch.ini and nothing else. Otherwsaie you will screw up your 360's nand.

That explains my confusion, since I rarely use FSD. All I intend to do actually is delete it, since it lives on my hard drive and there is no option with this tool to include the Dashlaunch binaries without a launch.ini.

If there is one on your harddrive that's loaded instead of the one in flash, and the one in flash is ignored

Do you have a JTAG or a Glitch? my tool supports that for JTAG, however glitch also supports it without any changes wink.gif

I realize that, but I had an issue in the past where a bad entry in launch.ini prevented my 360 from getting past the startup logo, and the fix was to remove the hard drive so that there was no launch.ini present. That would be more troublesome to fix if the launch.ini in flash were causing a problem, and since I don't intend to use it, I feel safer without it.

It's in Advanced mode, the xeBuild Settings tab

Edit: Remember to also set it to actually use custom xebuild settings, otherwise it won't use this option...

Hi Guys,

I'm currently running on 13599 dash with Freeboot on a Falcon [jtag]. I just ran the 360 Multi Builder tool and received the warning below. Never had this warning before and want to be sure it's ok to use the created .bin file to update my box. I read somewhere that its nothing to worry about for Jtag's, but want to be sure.

Appreciate any advice.

Thanks !
