I have installed x-link 2.1.3, installed upnp in XP and rebooted.

I select the only NIC that is listed in Config > Change NIC . . . (3com Etherlink)

I have left Halo running in system link mode, selected WGN mode . . . but no number listed in Local X-Boxes.

Lots of other information, but nothing for Local X-Boxes.

When in messanger mode . . . nothing on screen either sad.gif

What am i doing wrong sad.gif

Also when i test external connection it allways fails . . . saying make sure router / firewall is setup correctly sad.gif

Any help would be cool wink.gif

Need more information on your setup.

Do you have more than 1 network card but only 1 is displayed?

Is the XBOX connected to the switch / hub your PC is on and does it have a link light? (simple but thought id ask)

Are you behind a firewall or share an internet connection with someone (ICS, Masquerading etc)

hi bzchi,

i have only one NIC in my PC . . . 3com Etherlink 10/100

it looks like X-Link is displaying the above in Config > Change Network Adapter.

I do have a link light from my xbox to my switch and can connect ok from PC.

A have a cable router that supplies me with broadband internet. My switch
is connected to it.

maybe router needs configuring?

thank you for any help wink.gif
