Hey, somethings kinda been bothering me. I want an XBOX 360 and want to get it modded. But will the XBOX 360 be able to play games for the XBOX which are backups? I mean I don't want a modded 360 that can't play my non-original games. Thanks in advance.

Xbox Version: v1.0
360 version: v1 (xenon)
when the xbox 360 comes out then maybe we can get it modded. but we dont know how we will or how omddable it will be. you cant expect anyone to know now what we can do with a modded system. be happy with ur originals and play those. those r supposed to be ur only backups anyway

When it gets modded I don't see why it wouldn't be able to play back-ups of the games unless it had an issue with the patches not working with the back-ups. Right now we won't know until the system actually comes out.

I would say the safest thing you could do is go ahead and shell out the money for the 360 and keep your modded box, and if the modded 360 won't play your backed up games which it hopefuly should, you will have your xbox still and if it does sell your xbox, although you may get a lower price because of the 360 being out. I guess it depends on if you can wait for the 360 to be modded and are willing to take a lower price for it. Or you could sell it now buy the 360 and if it doesn't play them you could always buy another xbox and mod it since they will be much cheaper on ebay, Personaly I think thats what I would do.
