its the bios
just change the config.ini so you have the led color you want when in a game |

_GhOsT_: Not everyone uses the "uber" x2 bios
It depends on which bios you are using, some may require you to use a program like xbtool or evtool to change the LED colour, others may require you to change some values in a config file. |

QUOTE(_GhOsT_ @ Sep 7 2005, 04:55 AM) ha sorry im just so used to using the x2 bios i totaly forgot about the m8 bios it just threw me off because he said the x2.6 chip not everyone uses the 5+ x2 bios's either, those are not recomended for tsop flashes, doesnt play nice with some chips, and 5035 has an X animation bug with some xbox's. the 4000 variations are the most reliable bios's of all besides M8. |

i have always used the 5032 bios and have had 0 problems with it
the 5035 bios sucks ass because of the bug and i dont bother with the 4xxx bios's because i have never had the need to |

4981 or 4983. Nothing more stable in my opinion.
