Hi

Am I right in thinking that I just need to read and save the key (dummy bin) to then use with the 360key? I'm thinking of buying a used slim and anticipate being able to read the key using my usbpro and CK3i to power up the drive (I won't need any soldering/drilling/Sputniks/Apollo/Gemini etc as not flashing the drive just getting key).

It's just that I've seen a vid using another gizmo to read rather than the usbpro.

Finally is there any evidence to demonstrate that the 360 key reduces RROD?

yes u need the dummy.bin but xkey isnt compatible with the drives in brand new slims so your best bet is to buy one used.

Is the Xbox 360 GOW3 edition not working with 360key?
Also is 360key = xk3y?

This is the 360 console I considered but want to use it with xk3y.

lol every game works on the xkey if it doesn't then theres something wrong with your iso

and yes the usbpro will give you a key rip of all Lite-On DG-16D4S models the newer models Lite-On DG-16D5S the key cannot be gotten yet the method for extracted these models is not yet released as the pros arnt satisfied with it
