Welcome. I have following problem. Yesterday i got PS3 so i connected it. After doing so there was no video, i was restarting and doing everything what i read. So i disconnected HDMI from TV and wanted to connect it to other slot, when i had it connected to TV electricity went "Boom" Now i cant connect ps3 to HDMI cuz i just cant. Console is connected only to electricity NO HDMI etc just electricity. Everything is working fine but when i try to connect HDMI to tv i get shocked by electricity, and my whole electricity system in hoouse dies . I dunno what to do. I tested this port with Xbox360 and its working fine.

looks like you have 2 options you can either
1. send it back since you just bought it and it comes with a warranty... or

2. you can take it apart and look for you're self what the hell is going on...

do not recommend option 2 unless you are decent with soldering and pcb layouts...
