Unfortunately I received NO RIVETS from easybuy2000 (or perhaps they were lost when the post office repackaged) What do I do? I've installed the chip just as normal (no rivets) and I can even hear the boot disc loading up.. I just have no video signal ,, any ideas? could this be the cause of no rivets? perhaps the d0 ground is the only connection i am getting, which is causing the problem... oh and the cd drive wont open. thanks

make sure you have everything connected right. Then try removing the chip. Does it work now? If it does the same thing it might be a connection that doesn't deal with the chip itself.

Also, Do you have the pin header? If so, I would suggest just soldering the chip in place.

Good Luck,
Mitchell
