Any 'official' word on the rumours that rgh is blocked with this update for phat consoles?

Ive heard that its not true but I just want to make sure because my current vanilla/xbl console I plan to exploit in the future.

hopefully we get sum good news from the commodore/xkey guys soon....

I updated to the new dash and after every backup worked.
Xd2 worked
Ap 2.5 worked
Xd3 worked
And all on live.

Not blocked, but you will have to rebuild your ggBuild image as the LDV value increments with the update.

You know, for the first time in my life in regards to xbox live, I am starting to think it should be free. I have always said how cheap $50 for a year is etc, but honestly if you buy a multiplayer game for $65.00 you should be able to play it out the box and with all the advertisements and map packs, avatar tshirts etc that are thrown in our face daily it does seem like a bunch of microsoft points is what you need. Ohhh, and with the slew of online passes these days...ah well, the windows phone dash.....

Microsoft are money orientated, ffs they still charge for crap themes that were out from day one and don't even let you preview them, and they will not refund you when you find out the theme is crap, and anything they change will be to make more money, not because it would help the user out.

sometimes I think of buying a PS3 but then I remember thats its crap.

Of course MS is money oriented, their a business. Regarding the new dash, the amount of ads on it doesn't seem any greater than they already were on the previous dash. The new dashboard does provide new features for the users.

Re-designed UI for better navigation. It is also more aesthetically pleasing. Game saves to the cloud (which scares me so I wont be using it), beacons, and a number of new apps like YouTube.

Those features alone make the new dashboard an improvement over the old.

No, it's not blocked because the CB hasn't been updated. 14699 phats are still rgh exploitable.
