hey. I did this mod to ym wireless controller and made the adapter part of it a usb cable. i hadn't downloaded the HID drivers yet but i decided to plug it into my computer anyways and it detected it as a game controller..and if i go to device manager it says "Human Interface Device: Game Controller"

does it matter if it did this without the drivers? will the action replay thing still work?

Hey, sorry for bumping this semi-old topic, but I modded a controller and got some softmodding files onto my memory card. I plug it into the xbox and go to memory on the dashboard to copy the files to my hard drive. I can see the files, but when I press A to go to copy the files the only option I have is to "delete". If I'm not mistaken I should be able to copy the file and paste it onto the harddrive, correct?

Can someone tell me if I'ts possible to get past this?

Most likely what you have tried is not compatible. I have had the same problem.

You could always do the hot swap method. I have a few memory cards here. Where are you located?

If you have a memory card and just no action replay there is a way to mod a controller and make it work on the pc. So then you could put the softmod files on the memory card and softmod that way

Somebody tried a MicroSD card from a phone and got lucky. Basically to find a compatible USB device for the xbox, throw a dice and see where it lands - any existing USB device you can lay your hands on.

Do you have a USB/IDE enclosure? You could hotswap with that too. http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?s=&...t&p=4714351
