Can someone explain to me how to completely delete the soft mod. My friend went to revert it back to the unmodded state, and accidentally hit restore modded version with it already modded. Knowing that he messed up, he turned the XBX off, and now i get an error when starting the xbox in a modded state. I can start normally in unmodded state, and it will boot modded if i already have a disc in the drive. With no disc in though i get an error. Should deleting the MOD and reinstalling fix the problem or is there a better way.

Firstly .... wrong forum, you should be in the XBE Exploits forum.

Secondly.... your box is in high risk of a clock loop / error 16. If you have access to an exploit game (SC/007/MA), and you still have the gamesave on your harddrive then gain ftp access and restore your mod or your original retail drive.... if you don't have backups of either of these, then download slayers 2.6 and take the retail files from the directory SYSTEM\ALL\C
