Final Fantasy Xi, How do I get rid of the bastard off the HDD Options

I bought FFXI release date here in Australia....

I can't believe they released shit like this on the 360.

It sucked all my credit cards out numbers of me then proceded to rape me for 5 or so hours during install. I didn't even get to play the game after the ordeal (server errors or something). I broke a few things and then went and got a refund on the game the next day.

Today I noticed there is no option (that i can find) to delete the game and the shitty playonline viewer and it is taking up nearly half the HDD space.
Does someone know how to banish this monster back to hell where it belongs?

I believe that you have to put in the disk and the option is in there. Take er easy now, captain.

I guess I'll get one of those USB hdd adaptors down the track because there is no way that evil disc is going back into the 360, if I got my hands back on it there'd definately be a game of frizbee against the brick wall happening.

get the beta disc, maybe on ebay for like 5 bucks... should be able to uninstall that way

oh- its just the beta and u have the full version.. plus im in the states- i just realized your across the ocean- that might be expensive to ship....

And lose all your game saves. I r4eally wish MS would give you a way of backing up your game saves so you could format your HDD without it being the end of the world.

You mean something like a "safe-type" folder or section of your hdd where you could put your gamesaves in and "lock" them or password protect them, right? I agree. That way you wouldn't have to spend money on a MU that you would rarely use.

Thanks for the offers for the beta disc, but i've got a PAL box so I doubt if it'd work, if i'm wrong let me know though..... hmm could still snap the disc in half, write "shove this up your arse" on piece of paper with a big black marker and put contents in envelope addressed to squaresoft.. hmm

I've got 120 hours on oblivion and i'll be f-ed if i'm gonna spend 50 on their memory card.. I might call xbox support tomorrow and have another whinge to them for a bit of fun

I just made a new post about the same thing then noticed this post. UGH.. I returned the disk to the store. I would like to know how to uninstall. I guess I am going to try to rent the game but would be extremely grateful if someone would send the beta cd. I will send it back.. or buy it or whatever..


This game is a total POS of can't belive they released this.
