Mainly play offline, when I renamed my offline profile I lost all progress on my halo3 game. I wasn't sure if anyone else experienced this or it was just an unfortunate glitch, although I was able to duplicate it twice...when I renamed the profile back to the original I saw the progress again. If its a bug does anyone know of a fix?? It didn't seem to affect any other games, like cod4....the only thing was the game was in the drive when i renamed it...

It would seem to me like it should work fine if you:

(1) Are signed out
(2) Rename the profile
(3) Turn console off and back on

i had the same problem, i didnt know what had happened.
thought there was something wrong with my xbox
why didnt they put the multi save option in the game. i liked to play back some of the old levels
