I have a 40GB PS3 that when you turn it on the Green light stays solid, however the blu ray drive does not seem to power up. Can't eject the disk or anything. Also I get no display. I did reflow both chips on the board and no change. I also tried a different power supply, still nothing sad.gif

Im having the same issue, have you figured anything out yet? Im wondering if the blu ray drive just needs to be replaced?

i have the same problem even when i change the blu ray it is still the same thing ANY HELP PERTAINING TO THIS WILL BE VERY GREATFUL
