anyone know if dashboard 15574 will be gllitchable in the future or this is a permanent anti-rgh dashboard/cb? got an updated console from a friend. he doesn't have any old nand or cpu key.

should I just flash the dvd drive instead..?

You'll never get that question answered mate, always the same old reply "Wait and see". For now CPU replacement and DVD flashing is the only option.
