Ok i bought this chip (didnt know the bad feedback on it) cant get ech support from them came in a month afte ri ordered it, but they took my money the same day i ordered it anyhoo...) so ya put in the lunixbio.bin file and the screen says "loading linuxboot.cfg from cd-row" "cant find on cd" so whats this mean can any1 help?

would be nice to have more info on your version and dvd drive

also, taking a look a bit on this forum could help you a lot.. there is at least 10 poste in the first 2 page about that kind of problem rolleyes.gif

btw you probably have a crapy Thomson drive, and will need to use a DVD-R/RW media or a programer to get it running.

he he sorry yup you got it crapy thomson drive now iv got a dvd burner if i burn it to the dvd burner would it work? or what else can i do?

yup. Thomson drive like DVD-R media, that might work perfectly, just make your dummy file bigger (about 1.5Gb or more) and burn at 1x to be sure

yes you can use DVD-RW if your drive like this..

use nero, nero will detect that you have a DVD media in your drive and will give you 4.37gb of space (same as tutorial, but with bigger dummy files)

"Stupid EB2k" chip are the exact same as Chameleon you were buying few month ago.. EB2k was making chip for xodus, they only changed the led and the default cromwell bios..

buddy i donno what to say you just helped me soooo much i cant repay ya im gonna try it out right now...hey maybe you cant answer this question but how can i take my xbox game and rip it on to my cpu hd then burn it later on is there a prog that does it?

yea, linuxbio.bin is correct... it will find linuxboot.cfg in there as long u use dvd-r's or rw's... cuz yes, thomson = garbage... (worth burning.. literally... with flames... SERIOUS flames)

just use Slayer 2.5Final Installation CD, it will install your dashboard and all software needed to transfer game from your dvd drive to the xbox and then use ftp to copy them to your computer..

but try to flash bios first, if everything is going well, then you will pass to the next step (slayer)

not bad for a guy that don'T even have a modchip yet euh ? biggrin.gif rolleyes.gif

you can download games from the internet... which means... they will go to your comp's hd automatically... i believe you can also use evox to rip it to your computer... but you need to get the evox dashboard... which comes after you get your bios on it... good luck with the dvd's

vric whatt!!!!! ohmy.gif thats nut lol well im gonna try to burn it right now and hopefully you guys will still be here hey wait! i got another question i bought 2 mod chips 1 from eb2000 (but they took my money and didnt send till a month later) so i got sick and bought one form another place but this one is different and when i stuck it in it didnt sho anything on the screen is it broken??
