hey, basically my 360 is in my bedroom and my router is downstairs ( 2 floors, my rooms in the loft conversion ) and i really don't like the long A** cable going all the way up, so i wanted to get a router in my room to receive the wireless connection then i can connect my 360 to the router in my room as well as having connections for in the future if i need them. But can i just get a normal router? or do i need a special one to receive the internet connection ? is it a bridge router i need ?

any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

What you're looking for is either:

1. Wireless adaptor for the 360.
2. Wireless Ethernet bridge.
3. Wireless router with custom firmware, to convert it into a bridge.

In all honesty, I'd either go with options 1 or 2, as #3 is a little pointless unless you have a spare Linksys wireless router around which will only be used for one purpose. Any Wireless Ethernet bridge will do BTW.
