Hi all,

This is a probably stupid question, asked a thousand times, but as the search function here doesn't seem to work, I thought I ask anyway.

I have a new arcade console. The ones with the built in storage.
It has the Liteon 74 inside, which I have already pulled the key out of.
At the moment I have an old Hitachi 78 in it for playing my backups, and not connecting to live.
Will my console flag itself doing this?

Will live be safe if I pull out the Hitachi and stick the stock Liteon back in?

Feel free to barrate me if necessary, as long as I get an answer to the question!

If iXtreme with stealthing is on it, yes, flagged.
If it's an older non stealth fw, then you have a better shot.

Also, wouldn't switching the drive from a Hitatchi to a Lite-On just make the console not work?.. As the Key has to match the one on the motherboard to even boot up?

I think a couple of people misunderstood my question.

The liteon is the original drive from the 360. The Hitachi was from my dead one. I pulled the key off the liteon and spoofed the hitachi with the key. Both drives work in my 360.

What's a 'safe' firmware to use on the Hitachi that doesn't stealth check?
