Hey,
I have a crappy tv and I made a vga output on my box so I could enjoy some HD.
I installed the Ind 5001 Vga bios, and it boots nicely on my crappy tv.
But then, the tut on the front page says:
You must turn the xbox on in High Def A/V Mode with a normal TV (or HDTV) hooked up, turn on Progressive Scan Mode (480p) in the MS Dashboard, turn the xbox off, enable VGA Mode with you VGA Monitor hooked up, and turn on your XBox.But the problem is the first part: I canīt get into High Def Mode because when I set the switches 2 and 3 to on and plug in my usual (standard) cable, switch on also gets switched on. So I cant get into High Def
How do I switch to 480p on my crappy tv, to get some image on my VGA monitor?
Or do I need to find out how to do it blindly? If so, does anybody know the code?
Is it essential to switch to 480p to get image on a vga monitor?
