I havent been around for over 2 years now, long story short just got a 250gb Valhalla db: 2.0.12416.0, with LT-0401 drive which I'm gonna flash this week
Now I want to connect to live and a system update poped up!! can i still get my drive flashed after the update, or should i update the system before the drive is flashed?, or it doesn't differ whether or not i updated.
thanx

Yes you can update but to write to the drive after the update you may need to perform the kamikaze hack if your drive has a winbound chip to unlock the drive before you can flash it, very risky.

If your drive instead has a MXIC you need to solder extra hardware onto the pcb to unlock it.

Also if you ever want to glitch the 360 then do not update until you get your cpu key first. The current live update blocks the ability to get your cpu key.
