xeBuild GUI v1.0
Posted by XanTium | December 9 22:04 EST | News Category: Xbox360

Swizzy released a GUI for xeBuild v1.0:
[QUOTE]
Overview - What it does
- This is a frontend/GUI for xeBuild, what it does is make it easy for you to select most options that you might need, such as Motherboard, SMC hack for freeboot, image type etc. etc.
- It is able to check what SMC hack you have previously used for JTAG it's also able to tell you what SMC version you have, and if it's a JTAG, Clean/Retail, Glitch or Cygnos patched SMC :)
- If you put any of these files next to the executable it'll use them
automaticly:
SMC.bin - Custom SMC of your choice; ONLY USE THIS OF YOU KNOW WHAT
YOU ARE DOING!!!!
Xell.bin - Custom Xell of your choice; ONLY USE THIS OF YOU KNOW WHAT
YOU ARE DOING!!!!
cpukey.txt - It'll read the first line of this file as CPUKey
flashdmp.bin - It'll load this as source nand ;)
Default.xml - It'll load any preset settings from this file ;)
options.ini - It'll load any custom settings from this (for xeBuild)
launch.ini - Settings for Dashlaunch, if you choose to use this setting it'll include this file in the built image ;)

small bug found, when using this with the cygnos360 option ticked you receive an error telling you that the smc file cannot be copied, so you will have to copy the file each time you build an image from the smc directory into the data directory and rename it to smc.bin

if you dont do this it will remove the smc.bin from the source nand image which is not patched for the cygnos because it is the original one for retail boxes

consider fan speed setting options for future releases too smile.gif

Thank you for the bugreport, i'm guessing you used a jasper? that's the only one i can see in the code would fail as it tried to copy the motherboardname.bin meaning if you choose xenon it takes: xenon.bin and for jasper it would take: jasper16.bin or so, which don't exist, it's fixed now tho in the upcomming version, changing a couple of other things while's i'm at it and also adding in a update downloader since alot of ppl seems to have had a problem with how to get avatar support back

i actually have multiple xbox 360's just so happens that the first one i tried was a jasper 256 which would be jasper256.bin which worked when i renamed the jasper smc to that.

it seems that there's a problem with the custom options saving too, it just generates an error
