So I picked up my controller yesterday for the first time in about 4-5 days.

Turned the unit on by the unit's power button, screen came up, went into button animation with no sound, and was just stalled showing the front of the 360 with the ring on TV "pulsing"

Now, I might add that I bought a new modem, so I am assuming it was searching for that????

I shut it off, the screen went black, but the 360 stayed on until I held the power button. Also, the controller would not synch with the box(again)

I fired everything back up, and instantly signed on, controller read, no problems.

Got into a mission on GTA 4, and the game froze at the loading screen. Had to back out to dashboard and restart GTA4. After that, no problems.

Someone over at LLama boards stated it was a pre-RROD symptom??

Exactly you will be getting RROD very soon if you keep using it, so go ahead and xclamp that bad boy.

Well, I figured I would give it the ole big test last night. I turned it on around 9:30 pm and put in COD4. From what I hear, if any game is going to toast it, this game can.

Played this game till about 11:30 nonstop. I took it out and put in GTA 4, going for the kill......

turned that game off around 12:55 am.

Not one problem, nothing. Unit booted up perfectly, no freezing games, nothing.

Perhaps the previous was an isolated incident?? (crossing fingers)
