Well i'm going to flash my box soon but first I wanna know what to buy. Right now i'm looking to see what connectivity kit to buy. I got a liteon drive manufactured in 2008-11-26 so i'm more than likely to have the 7485 drive.

I'm pretty sure that I need a probe so this is what i'm planning on buying:

I'm not sure where to buy it lol... I seen on mod-chip.com that I can buy a connectivity kit and I need to buy the probe separate :S

the probe can be bought with the ck3 or in the case of maximus xtractor the spear can be bought with it as a package.i am in uk,so i dont know best place in usa to buy it from.

Yeah ok, but what exactly should I buy?

1st one is pro version using usb and 2nd one is lite version using a serial port pro is much better then lite
is like 5 dollars more for usb and is hell of lot better (imo)..

those are teh ones i bought, the last thing, the rs232 i got on ebay cuz it was only .99 cents, but the other two i got from that site and they have a nice tutorial on how to use them adn i have done about 50 xboxs with those. just my 2 cents hope you find one cheap and best of luck in your modding
