From t3.com:
[QUOTE]
A Microsoft Zune / X-Box 360 / mobile phone hybrid? Could this potentially be the greatest handheld gadget in the history of the world?

It's by no means a reality, but it's been over a year since Big M big-wigs hinted at this awesome combo. While nothing remains concrete, we at T3 couldn't wait any longer.
Our artist's impressions from the future tech feature in this month's T3 Magazine show the three gadgets brought together in revolutionary harmony.

Nice concept, but personally I'd change the following..

1. Black! Gotta be black.
2. Analog stick - without an cleverly designed and slim analog stick, the handheld wont seem any different to older models of handhelds.
3. Shape - I'm hoping it'll look more slick than this.

1) Maybe a black and silver option
2) There is an analog stick...actually theres 2. The 2 circles at the bottom are the analog sticks
3) And if it has all that stuff in it, i'm sure it's going to be pretty thick sad.gif

Didn't microsoft say they arent getting into the handheld market this way?

I could make an "artist rendition" of anything I want to (maybe a hybrid satellite dish, cell phone and microwave) and say....maybe this will come out one day in the future?

What happens when it RRODs? I'd think heat would be a huge issue would be sweet if they could shrink the 360 that small tongue.gif

Portable 360? How do you fit a game disc in a phone?

Good point to the guy above, that'll be interesting.

I personally think it looks nice. The xbox guide button is in too prone a position to be accidentally pushed too much, but i think the look of the whole unit is quite nice.

And yeah, im remembering its a concept picture, if that.

Hehe again like the Lian-Li 360 case and the 360 in a suitcase that we've seen on here recently, they've ilimentated that issue by removing the ring of light. biggrin.gif
No ring of light no RROD tongue.gif

Personally, if I were leading the design team.. I would-

-Make the left and right side of the screen (where the buttons are) slide out in opposite, respective ways
---- this would keep the size-in-the-pocket down, look more sleek, and appeal more to the masses
---- having of the sides slide out could reveal a camera
-Make the screen a touch screen, appealing to those that like touch screens
---- it'd ride off the fame of current touchscreen devices, like the DS, iPhone, etc
-Make it a little more rounded with a few color options, one of those definitely being a black/gloss black
---- it'd have to be less than an inch thick or else it'd become absolutely unappealing

I'm sure I could think of other stuff, but that's where I'd start if I were to design this thing.

Ah, screw thinness. Xbox is kinda known to be big and bulky anyway, so roll with it! If they made a handheld the size of the old 'duke' controlers.... I'd cut and re-sew the pockets in all my cloths to carry it, cause it's that cool! biggrin.gif Not to mention, personaly I'd rather play something that "fit my hand" and not "fit IN my hand". blink.gif
It would be nice to have SOMETHING xbox that didn't need to be pluged into the wall all the time.

When this thing RROD's, it doubles as a $500 firecracker that you ironicaly throw AFTER it goes off.
