Had a quick question. Might be hard to explain but...,

With a "modded" 360, do you run the same chances of getting "banned" from live when you:
  • Play "original" games online or while connected to live
  • Play "backup" games online or while connected to live
  • Connect to live while watching movies, playing arcade games

Connected to live is the exact same thing as playing on live.

And you always run a chance of being banned no matter what... The way I think of it... If you have a modded console and go online you will be banned... It's just a matter of time... Maybe 6 months maybe a year maybe 2 years... It's just a matter of time, So my opinion is if you are worried about getting banned from live anyway, you shouldn't have gotten your console modded.

Also there are theories that MS can detect even if you are playing a bad backup even offline, It will flag the console and when the next ban wave comes, you will be banned.

So it's never 100% safe and nobody really knows 100% what MS does.

Thanks for the input.

I knew the risk of getting banned online, so it doesnt bother me that much if I get banned. Ill just go out and get another xbox. My xbox is out of warranty so thats why I decided to mod it.

I was just wondering if doing certain things increase the risk.

At the moment, I never play backups online or while connected to live.
