I have a V1.6 with a X3 running a 120 gig harddrive. I also have a V1.1 that has been TSOP with a 60 gig harddrive. The TSOP has issues that I cannot seem to fix. It started loading the main MS dash for some reason, along with some other software problems. My question is this, could I swap my harddrive from the TSOP to the X3, rerun slayers and swap it back? I tried running slayers on the TSOP but there are files that have to be renamed and I think that might be what is messing up. I renamed them but after a day or 2 it loads back to the MS dash.
Yes you can. So long as your partitioning on your X3 bios is set the same as the TSOP you'll be fine. Also you'll want to pay attention to the boot order in each of your bioses. It sounds like a bad hdd to me + 60GB is old school.
