Well i got a doux2 for my v1.6 xbox when i installed the lpt port to the chip i realized it was on the other way so the chip is now facing down when installed. I have yet to rebuild the lpt header on my xbox so i was just wondering did i screw my chip up entirely by soldering it on the oposite way or can it operate normally with it upside down? I also tried some de-soldering braid but it didn't seem like it was helping much.

- thanks for reading -

Yeah you are gonna have to fix that. If you try and hook it up that way you are probably gonna kill the chip and possibly the mother board. If you cant get it desoldered you can try and solder some small gauge wire and just in stall it that way. but it would be best to get it desoldered and installed correct

holy f'n chrst....not just a clever name (duoX2needhelp)

....i was laying down, now sitting up smoking a cigarette and getting drunk to forget what i just read.

no offence, but that's f'n retarded. you will f'k your sht up if you try to fly like that. it will FRAG, and after repeated use, it will prob. kill the motherboard, maybe the chip as well.

tutorials in my signature....i suggest you read.
