Okay, I bought my X-BIT about 8 months ago for my 1.0 Xbox. After an extensive session of shouting and cursing, I finally got things to work with the pogopin install. It has worked perfectly since then but this past week I decided to be a really nice guy and help a friend mod his Xbox. He wanted to know if his X-Bit was fried so he came up with the genious idea of taking mine out and trying it on his. Foolishly I agreed. So Now since then I can only get my modded dashboard to work but every time I try the MS one, I get the dreaded FRAG. I had the same problem when I installed it the first time. So, I'm not saying that all is well but I'm saying to everyone that has this problem, your chip more than likely works. All you need to do is brush up on your expletives because it seems that that is the only thing the X-Bit responds to. I am going to go and install this $%#$# chip whether it likes it or not. Good Luck.

Your HD is probably unlocked, causing the MSdash not to work
