installed a duomodchip, everything works fine. Both back ups and originals work in colour, the only issue is that i have to turn up tv to full volume and i can still barely just hear it and no more

any ideas please

you have a small (tiny) ball of solder that has flicked off your iron and is connecting on a ic (chip) legs or lying on some tracks. carefully examine your motherboard using a magnifying glass and remove any solder splashes you find and retest. Also it does not sound like a chip problem so i wouldn't bother replacing it.
