Hi.

Does anyone know how to configure Linux to FTP to a Xbox 1?

Using DHCP on the Xbox, and Filezilla in Linux, I'm unable to make a connection.

I've used the exact same settings on the Xbox with Windows+Filezilla, so I'm assuming it's a Linux configuration that's off.

Does anyone know how to set a Linux OS to automatically use DHCP if it's not already?

I'm currently using two ethernet cables bridged by a router.

Sorry, I found a working method here. Turn's out Debian already has some type of default dhcp-client as I didn't have to install the recommended with aptitude, or synaptic.

When using Windows, I typically only plugged in the router after it was turned on, and I needed to ftp to the Xbox. It auto-detected the router, and configured the dhcp without user intervention.

If someone knows of a way to not have to configure the interface at the *nix boot time, please let me know.
