You wouldn't be in this mess if you had saved the original dummy.bin. If you still have it use it as source but my guess is that you don't have it. Getting dummy from ix only works for older ixtreme not LT. I just don't understand why people can't just save their dummy/ original firmware. It takes up so little space its negligible. I personally keep a copy on my desktop and flashdrive. An even better idea is to store it in your email or any other online storage solution.
the orig.bin file i do not have
do u think id be wasting my time here if i had it ?!?!?
the machine is not mine its a friends who asked me if i could update the drive for him
the funny thing is it reads the drive serial number and drive info and chip info too,
i have also noticed teh MT chip gets a tad hot
im thinking his drive has gone tits up to be honest
im reversing the work i did and seeing if the drive reads anything at all.
if thats the case its lights out i tink
dump is here if any1 wants to look at it
ive had it open in a hex editor and check for differences and aganist a dummy file i made from teh same firmware that i put the key in as DADADADADADADADADADA and the only.
few differences but DADADADADAD was matched up to 777777777777
think its game over lol
