hrmm, it should work, but i personally think that harddrive belongs in a computer not an xbox. i wouldn't go over 300gigs it would be a waste...

it will work, but look in to 32k cluster and xbpartitioner. if it doesnt lock, just take it back, hdd have good warranty'
