PS2 Vs XBOX, is there really any competition? Options

xbox will never have the same # of games as ps2 unless sony goes bankrupt. ps2 is producing too many games for xbox to catch up to it. the only thing i can predict is xbox will release same # of games within a year

i am an xbox fan, i really see no reason to get ps2 other than rpg's and gta3/

XBOX never had a chance, its clear the most populiar console recieves the best games.

Id hate to see one company dominate the console market but I wouldnt be suprised if its the same outcome with PS3.

If you take into account homebrew applications such as emulators, media players, and menu-driven dashboards to run ALL software directly from the hard drive, a modded Xbox EASILY beats a modded PS2 hands-down.

Being able to play any game from a complete collection of Commodore 64, NES, TG16, SNES, Sega Genesis, GBA, and MAME arcade games straight from the HD is a blast. PS1 emulation also adds in a decent library of old games, although I really prefer stuff from the 16-bit era over most of what the PS1 could offer.

The ability to store Xbox games on the HD is likewise a huge convenience advantage.

PS2 has the worst graphics of all three, that is a fact, not an opinion, and I personally think that the GC is the best system.
