I had the same problem.
changing the ip address helped, set the xbox to a static ip and set the default gateway to the ip of the machine your connecting from.
I also changed from 10 base to 100.

hmm. thnx but I tried it all. sad.gif

"200 Type set to IMAGE." I think this is part of the problem. Has anyone here gotten that message when transferring files? (in your ftp-client)

edit: I just noticed that it's only slow when I download from my Xbox.. not the other way.

Even stranger.. sad.gif

One: turn off passive mode (in the options, or in the settings for your xbox-connection (in FlashFXP)

Look for a setting to change the send/receive buffer size, that helped me out a lot. Used to transfer at 1.5MB, now transferring at 8MB on average. I'm not using Flashfxp, so I'm not really sure which setting thats under, look around. Give it a try.

Under options, preferences, transfer tab, within that, there should be two boxes (checked) Obey download speed limit / upload speed limit, change the value in there to something like 10000 KB/sec. Hope it helps.

What is evox reporting that your network card is? Is it saying full duplex/100 or something like that?

hmm.. I'll look into that. smile.gif The prob is that I haven't got a tv-set in the room where my PC is at. I'll make an xxl crossover cable today.

This morning I started up a transfer and guess what: it's now transferring approx 200 KBps. blink.gif (rg8182: tweaking those values did not work for me.)

i got 1-2 mbit after tweaking.
now i get 8 mbit this way
set up a ftp server on your computer (serv-u is easy) then connect to it using xb-ftp and let the xbox download from your computer.much faster than the other way around

You shouldn't use that setting at all in FlashFXP... this is not a buffer option.
When unchecked, the client doesn't limit the transfer speed at all...
It doesn't give you more speed if you enter 999999 as well.

Have you tried a different cable ?
What kind of NIC do you have ?
Whats your computer OS ?
