I recently got a sweet DVD-R drive and am now curious if you can backup xbox games and burn them onto DVD-R's. If anyone has any info about this let me know. Thanks a ton

PS-would those backups be playable on xbox live??

yes you can.....read the tutorials in the "Backup Forum" for more info

yes & no...... they would work, but only for the very first time you log on live using a hacked bios to run the disc.......then you'll get banned.

so really, the answer is no

yes u can back them up, no u can't play on live with the back ups. Check out the tutorials section on xbox-scene.com for info on how to do it.
