Hi, im very new to Linux, so i downloaded X-Dsl for xbox, now i only have one question (for now anyways), and thats how do i go about setting up internet connection shareing between my windows xp pc, and X-DSL on the xbox using a dial up connection?.

I already have my crossover cable plugged into my network card on my pc and on my xbox, and have ICS turned on on my xp machine, but i don't have a clue how to do the linux part, i hope someone here will be able to help me.

XDSL uses DHCP by default
Theres nothing to do on the "Linux" part.
ir your XP machine is connected to the net, and your XDSL box is plugged into it, u should be connected, unless its a firewall issue of something.

My mom has XP on a dialup, and whenever I got to her house, I can plug right into her PC (with a crossover) and get right on.

All I had to do is enable ICS on the XP machine.

There is an option somewhere in xp that asks if you want to allow other computers to connect to the net through this machine. Cant quite remember where it is, but after I enabled it any computer I connected to xp could get on the net.
