I just imported this game. It rules! It's from FROM Software, the guys who made Otogi. It's hands-down the best single-player mech game on the xbox. Cool design, great animations, and awesome weapons. It's also much faster than standard xbox-fare. It's about as fast as Phantom Crash, but isn't confined to three stinking levels. Also, there's plenty of upgrading, and you can customize your weapon configuration quite a bit. If it comes state side, I'll buy that, too. The voice acting is AWESOME. It's so bad, it'll make your sides hurt from laughter. But that kind of adds to the charm.
Along those same lines, I was super disappointed in MechAssault 2. The first one was one of my favorite games. I even enjoyed the single-player campaign. The second installment sucked. Most of all, I hated the fact that you couldn't choose your mech at the beginning of each map. I loved taking on the latter missions in a smaller mech just to see if I could do it, but you don't really have that option in this one. The online mode isn't even that fun, because most of the games get ruined by 13-year-old faggots that don't know how to play. I'm taking that game back to GameStop.
