I would like to dual boot a retail kernel for Live and RGH for homebrew. I've done some research but can seem to find a total guide and some factts seem to be confused.

Is Cygnos360v2 Rev E the only chip that can do this? I saw this site claiming another way to do it.

Where can I find the Cygnos360v2 Rev E? and is there any other equiment I need?

You could certainly do the NANDwich method (like described in that link). The Squirt360 and supposedly DemoN (to be released from Team Xecuter) will have dual-NAND support. Unless you're keen on doing a NANDwich, you might want to wait for those options as you'll have both the glitch chip and the extra NAND in one.

In the end, it's really about preference.

Has anyone seen a propable release date for the new chips?

And what about Cygnos360v2 Rev E as a option?

I haven't seen a release date for anything yet. TX has teased about the DemoN lately, but nothing concrete has been released yet.

The Cygnos is an option if you don't want to wait. Like I said, it's really up to you.

I'm not sure if they're in production any more. Check their resellers.

As for tutorials: I don't have time to hunt down a good one at the moment. Unless someone else has a good link, GIYF.

I already checked out their retailers and they are all sold out. I have googled a lot of info reguarding a tutorial but there has been no [Complete] guide that I could find. I put in a mod chip and fully modded (back ups, homebrew) everything out on the original xbox back in the day, but the documentation was much better and easier to find.

A lot of info is out of date. My current understanding is this: The xenon is not vulnerable to RGH b/c of its use of a different processor/timing. The Slim Corona also isnt vulnerable b/c its HANA chip has been intergrated into the south bridge and the hana had been what they exploited fot timing. So all other versions should be exploitable reguardless of kernel version etc.?

I will write up a complete tutorial when I'm done and hopefully save everyone a lot of searching.

If you live in Europe, on Hardstore.com there are some Cygnos V2 Rev.E

The infos are very old, visit XboxHacker! tongue.gif
For Xenon is missing only the timing and Corona are vulnerable probably, but there is work to do and some Corona's nands aren't readable... (Corona 4GB)

Not all other consoles are still glitchable: refurbished Zephir/Falcon/Jasper have a "double CB" (like slims) and these aren't glitchable.

Live in Texas :/

This stuff about refurbs not being glitchable I have heard also heard wasn't sure if it was true. You mentioned them having a "double CB" like the slims but isn't the slim trinity board vulnerable?

I don't know if you read my earlier post , but I have fully modded out an original xbox-installing the mod chip, flashing a custom bios, and running around IRC and newsgroups to get the files needed for a custom dash and lots of emulators. So i'm pretty confident I won't "fuck up"

My point was I can find guides/tutorials but they seem to be out of date for the most part.

I have found 2 guides detailing how to do this on a slim but I have a jasper. I would love to get the Demon from TX but with no ETA in site it is currently vaporware.
