Hello, I've tried to add a molex cable taking the power points from under the power supply.

Problem is that the values I'm getting seem to high: 15.5v from the 12v rail and 6.5 from the 5v rail

Will it be ok to connect a hdd to this molex?

Check the batteries in your meter, or use some other know voltage source for a reference to make sure it's working right.

You don't want to pull the 5v from under the power connector either, that's a 5v Standby, not a switched power source.
