Hey everyone. I am attempting to do a NAND dump on my zephyr 7371 console w/HDMI. Using the NAND-X, I have directly connected the wires. Well, actually the FIRST time i attempted to JTAG my console I used the pin headers and while desoldering the stock pin holes to fit in the pins, I lifted/burnt a few on J1D2.

I now rely solely on using the Alternate Points tutorial on Team Xecuters forums which I have been using, and using the direct wire installation from the NANDx to the xbox 360 motherboard.

On top of the motherboard, for J1D2.3, there is a small trace leading to the pad,I think I have permanently messed it up because youre supposed to see a bright copper, but i see a brownish color. Have i cut too deep on the trace? Same goes for 2 other traces on the back.

Do I have to rebuild all the pins on J1D2 including the ones not used for NAND dumping?

I have also burnt, and removed the capacitor C1D7, by the J1D2.5 I think on top of the mobo. What now?

I have soldered before, and didnt use flux the first time I attempted this when I shoudlve. (Lesson learnt)

And also, the reason why I messed up the pads was when trying to clear holes for the pin headers with the desolder braid i left it on their too long. Thanks for reading!

Gonna' assume your 'box still works after all that.
You only have to repair the points necessary for read/write to nand or ignore them and use alternates. That cap is a filter cap on the 3.3v standby point of that header - not needed.

Thank you so much man. yes my xbox still works. What I did is solder the alternate points to each pinhole from under the board, and then used direct wire heads from the nand x cable for j1d2 and installed it like that. So it looks like this

Top of mobo nand x wire--------------O-------------(bottom of mobo coming from an alternate point)

Should i just go directly from alternate point to the nand x wire? maybe thats the issue here.
