He told me he discontinued the 1ghz upgrade. Now he only does the 1.4ghz

Do you still do the mod though? For upgrading a 1.4 board to 1.4g/128mb RAM what would the price be from USA?

Is it possible to switch between 1.4GHz and lower speed once the new processor is installed? Was reading your thread from back in 2007 and there were issues with some games running too fast - is that still a problem or is that fixed now?

Trying to decide if this mod is worth the money if I'm mainly going to use my Xbox for emulation...

Yes, still doing the upgrade.. for the price,please see the PM..
Sorry for there is no switch for the CPU speed change..
For some games run faster,you can use the 1.4G patcher.
