Anyone try downloading the demo of NBA Live 2006 off of Live? I played it and I must admit that it looks beautiful graphics wise, and I love the 2k series over the lives series anyday, but anyone else notice how the framerate jumps back and forth?

Yeah i got the demo. You must realize that it is a demo so it may be a little buggy. I don't have the full version so I don't know if they fixed the framerate thing. but yes it does look nice but I think nba 2k6 looks nicer.

I know that it's just a demo.......but I was just wondering because I heard that this was the case with Quake 4. I guess they didn't optimize it for the 360, just ported the PC code over and said it works....that's good enough

I own 2K6 and downloaded the Live demo. Live looks better overall, but 2K6 plays *much* better. At first I didn't really notice it, but after playing 2K6 for 5 hours and then trying the Live demo, Live's gameplay really does suck. The player control is nowhere near as good as 2K6.
If you are buying for graphics alone, then Live delivers. For fun gameplay, 2K6 all the way.
