has anyone else found that using the trident to switch 3.3v to cpld is screwing up the glitch times?

at the moment i have a 4cm wire as thick as i could get from normal 3.3v to my cpld and boot times are always 5 secs

i remove the 4cm wire and add a 5cm wire from 3.3 to trident then another 5cm wire from trident to cpld so total 10cms and both this and the 4cm read a good 3.3v on my meter but glitch times drop to 2mins while using this blink.gif

only thing i can think of is the trident circuit is using the 40cm+ ribbon cable to supply vcc to cpld whatever the reason i cant use my retail nand with the trident switch feature....

how about using the matix jed and hard wire the points from the trident to my cpld?
