Hi, i screwed up an overclock and now my computer wont boot into BIOS, it says No Input Detected when i start up my computer with my moniter. Now I can either use the jumper trick or CMOS battery to reset my BIOS but the problem is im not 100 percent sure on how to do that, as I have heard many different things like holding the power button for 30 seconds...etc. And my computer has 2 jumpers, one next to the CMOS battery, and another next to the PSU. The one next to the battery wont let my computer turn on if its plugged in to the other pins, so im not sure which is the right one. So how would I go about reseting this thing?

Read your motherboard manual.
Follow their directions for recovering from a bad overclock.

If you don't have your manual, download one online.
· Check your motherboard for manufacturer name
· Also check for model number
· Visit manufacturer's support website
· Download your manual
· Read it


Some boards use jumpers to reset the CMOS while others use the battery.


. . . and while you're at it, read the manual for proper overclocking of that motherboard.
