Any 911 driver will obviously know that all the weight is on the rear meaning excellent traction out of the bends - and this is true to the game when compared to the E36 M3 for example (that struggles for grip).. phenominal

Very true. I think it's incredibly good fun; with all driving aids off the concentration required to keep the car on the road is unbelievable. On PGR3 you can drive pretty well and be talking to someone at the same time. Not the case here at all. I love it!

Anyone else getting massive satsfaction from outbreaking someone and making a clean pass around them? biggrin.gif Esecially on the outside, I get a HUGE grin on my face whenever I pull it off happy.gif

I still keep stabbing the brakes sometimes though. I love how if you apply the brakes fully and do it fast the wheels lock up. But apply them fully slowly and you can get the full power of the brakes. So real. I also noticed that the race cars are really easy to drive compared to the A class cars and the A class cars are easier than the C class. I suppose that's how it would work on a track in the real world.

Ooo ooo! One more thing... the sky looks fantastic. But I do agree there are quite a few jaggies. Most obvious are unfortunately the ones on the cars sad.gif

it's due to there only being 2xAA @ 60fps in the main game, to keep things smooth, it's a compromise im willing to have, i'm not so bothered, especially since i use the road camera.

watch a replay though with full 4xAA @ 30fps, looks sexy.

Regardless this game is about physics, and even my mates who hate forza (Gran Turismo noobs) say the physics are spot on, but they still "hate the driving"...idiots laugh.gif

Ahh I'm gonna check out that replay grim wink.gif

I have to admit, I love Gran Turismo. For its time, GT was the at forefront of racing simulation (possibly not when Forza was released stacked up against GT4?). But prior to that, nothing came close to GT, GT2 and GT3 as far as I'm aware. I never played Forza Motorsport being a Playstation owner (now I have seen the light and am sticking to my 360), but I thought GT4 was fairly realistic gameplay. I take it by what people are saying that Forza was far superior in terms of simulation?

For GT5 Polyphony Digital are gonna have to pull something out, as they've got two games to whip on the 360 happy.gif Bring on PGR4!

Grim, tell your mates to go play some Mario Kart if they hate real driving:lol:

Id say so man, the only thing that gets me down is the lack of a feeling of real speed, i think this is due to the complete lack of motion blur on the edges of the screen, while the simulation of speed is correct, some blue to make it feel really fast would have been nice.
