That was a notification that he was online, if you looked, he had only 1 friend online and that was him. It just was delayed. How do I know? SAME EXACT THING HAPPENS TO ME. I start xbox just like he did to where it boots to dash first and one friend is online, then press play game from dashboard and as the game is starting, it then says hes online, its just a delayed message.

I actually beleive this video, it looks very real and whoever made it showed proof by acessing guide in avalaunch, this looks amazing. I wish he would of loaded an emulator or something to see if it would of gave any errors or what...

Thats a complete contradiction... If your 100% sure that he is his only friend, and that notification was infact a delayed message alerting that HE/SHE was online not a friend... than it CANT be real, because the same video shows 2 different gamertags. First its 'Puffy J'.... then (if your correct) it shows him signed in as 'bry117'.

He has only 1 friend... and yet it displays two different gamertags durring the "same" session. Without him manually signing out, and signing into another gamertag this is impossible. I am starting to think something is fishy.

Edit: My ex-girlfriends legs ARE closed, so the fishy smell must be eminating from the video.

what interests me is the fact that when he goes to file manager, there is a C, D, E, F, X, Y, and Z partitions. Is it likely that the xbox 360 has the same file structure as xbox 1?

but.....

when you add up the file size, its about 20 GB(stock 360 HD size). so i dont know. like it was said before, it could easily be faked but then again it could be real. i just hope its true.

Looks real to me, there is nothing wrong with the dashboard, or anything. Everything looked like the 360...
Only reason why you guys think its fake is because you cant believe that the 360 would be finnaly hacked..

I bet you this is very real... There is no evidence on the screen that shows it was a fake
His friend signed on, so the messages r late. Same thing happens to me.
It says no link because when you go into an xbox game it disconnects you but keeps your profile.

actually it says no link because thats suppose to be a ftp link i beleive, but other than that, i think your right. This actually looks very legit, it would be very hard to video edit something like this...

I see some proof that may make this more beleivable for more people who dont beleive, if you look when he goes into the file manager, the partitions equal out to be around 20GB... hmm... sounds like the size of the only official availble xbox 360 hard drive to me? biggrin.gif

A side note: The F partition has around 1700megs and E has around 3000 megs, i remember when I first got my 360 I checked the harddrive status in the dashboard and I had 17 gigs left and I thought it was weird since the hard drive is 20gigs. Well this seems to be the reason, it seems as if all the downloadable stuff goes to F, which is the space availble to us. And E must be the dashboard files and system files...

This definitly does not sound like a coincidence to me...

Looks like they might have found a security loop hole in a original xbox game. Since it boots the Xbox emulator up. Thats just my theory.

I find it difficult to believe that any established hacker would include their own Live ID in a video release.

That's just asking for trouble.

i think those pictures are real they look just perfect, no photoshop flaws or anything and the guide could easily be faked but it sort-of adds more realism to it... i dont know i want to beleive they are real

I would have to say just as my opinion that this video is fake, based on that the fact that if this person was connected to live, and was still getting friends sign on and off, why, in the lower left corner, would it say No Link!, in order for him to link up with a PC he would have to enable DHCP. Seems kind of fishy to me...
