well, my psp wont power up without ac adaptor, neither stay powered up withou it, the battery is there and charged but it always apear as empty.. does anyone know what is measuring battery voltage?

i opened it up and made some measurement with multimeter but i dont know what looking for, or what values should look like.. i tried comparing it with some online pictures of my board but no visible diferences... maybe broken solder.. lol

any ideias?

A guy at work had the same problem and I just reflashed his firmware to 3.80M33 and all was good.

The battery was loose because he lost the battery cover and I guess a firmware download never finished? Dunno.


Try it.

Have you tried another battery?
