xboxrom.bin is just a BFM-bios renamed to xboxrom.bin.
Get the latest BFM X2 Bios and rename it to xboxrom.bin

I tried this out and it works a treat but I've had some trouble.

The only bios I can get it to load is the one that was included with the zip (or rar i forget) off of the official website (Evox_M7?). This works a treat but I want to either have a bios that has the eject fix or I want to edit the bios myself. But when I open the bios using XBTool i get the error "kernel extraction failed. See logfile"

The reason I would like to sort this out is because I've soft modded my xbox.

I use the mechassault hack to load up evox and then select it from my applications list, After it loads the bios I want to press the eject button asap so that I can put in other games and such (it will automatically boot from evoxdash.xbe if I press eject before it plays mech assault again) but because of the bios, hitting eject restarts the machines so i see evox for 1 sec happy.gif So theres no way of getting the game disk out without it reseting the machine with the bios included, and other bioss I've tried don't work?

Anyways getting to the point.

It would be nice If I could

1) use the mechassault exploit to load up a bios (possible)
2) hit eject at the right time to load up evoxdash.xbe (already on c: ) to take the game out and put whatever disk I want in (Not possible with the bios supplied)
3) or get the bios loader to eject thedisk immediately after loading the bios (not possible and again requires a different bios)

If I could do this, I could just load the mechassault and then run my xbox as if it was a modded box.

Theyre just some of my ideas. Anyone else had any fun with this?

Thanks for the great software btw!

Me,

P.S. I forget my xbox version but its a 1.1 or above

All bios in that pacakage are editable. U have to download a config.rar file package from xbins. U have to unrar the file and copy over all the contents of folder under Config folder of xbtool directory. Then u just slelect type of bios to "Debug" and u can edit those bfm bioses.

PBL 1.4 unofficial would not work with my 1.0 xbox, I later saw a random post which said its not supposed to work with the Advanced or HD a/v packs, only the regular a/v pack. That explained my problem because I used the advanced. However I have Conexant encoder so I didn't need 1.4, and I flashed my tsop anyway

however

I did upgrade pbl on my dad's focus xbox from 1.3.5i to 1.4 unofficial, it works fine on his with regular a/v pack, the only reason its needed is to get rid of the jittery loading screen. I use bigfonts25, pbl 1.4 yoshihiro and x2 4981.06 BFM. when it loads, it works fine, but sometimes you have to reboot it 2-3 times to get it to load, the problem lies in the fonts I'm pretty sure as bigfonts seem very timing dependent
