I have Flash FXP i just don't remember what i need to put in to connect my x box and Laptop. Any help would be appreciated

You just need your xbox's IP address, the username and password should be the default which is just xbox/xbox. Port number is 21.

If you're connecting directly to the xbox (without a router) make sure you are using a crossover cable, not a straight through cable. Also, if that is the case, make sure both your laptop and xbox are using static ip addresses (that don't conflict with each other).

If you are going through a router first, make sure you're using a straight through cable. By default, most routers assign ip addresses. Make sure the xbox isn't set to a static ip.

With the laptop and xbox both on, you should be able to go into network connections and see that the connection is active, assuming your network settings are correct.

There are tons of guides for setting up ftp for the xbox. They're easy to find.

If going through a router, then the laptop will report the connection as "active" regardless of whether it has a path to the X-Box or not. It's worth checking the connection status on the console as well (there's a green LED on the Ethernet socket that'll light up if it's correctly plugged in).

What dashboard are we talking about here? Note that the original MS dash offers no FTP services.

Ok so i got the two to connect but damn this thing is getting way to annoying to bother with, it randomly disconnects me every single time, it won't let me delete any files im trying to remove from my system and im trying to add files to it and they're on the system, but not being read at all. Is there any other way to do this, i would prefer a system that isn't setup to disconnect me so damn much.

The compatibility list I just read says it will do exactly what you're describing.

"1964, The game does run in 1964 and Project 64 but with no GFX, You can tell its running by the sound.
